Photos of Guest Room, Birthday Card and Three Cards

Hi there,
Have finally got hold of Grant's USB cable and downloaded the photos of our new improved Guest room and it was christened last weekend, when Grant's brother Dave and Anne stayed with us for the three nites. We had a lovely time and although they came in a camper fully intending to stay in that, it was either too hot and stuffy with the heater on, or too cold, so after one night in the camper, they decided the guest room looked pretty inviting.
The purse card is one I made for Kelsey, our son's girlfriend, who turned 20 last week, she loves pretty things and I included a voucher for her to spend inside the wee purse.
Today our choir "Living Harmony" had the pleasure of singing at the New Plymouth District Council at a function they held for 95yrs old and over. They were all invited to the afternoon with the Mayor and his wife and we were asked to entertain them. We sang three lovely bright songs - Travellin on, Take Five, and Walk on By, and then were asked to join the Mayor and his wife and the young 95++ for afternoon tea. It was amazing there were several centurians there....(hang on I think I mean centenarians .... can't really imagine Roman soldiers at the afternoon tea!!!) and even four 101 yrs young!!!! wow, and they looked so bright and 'with it', would love to think that I could ever get to that monumental age. We had a lovely time and it was a very pleasurable hour. Unfortunately our Mayor Peter Tennant and Rosemary his wife have done their last civic function today after nine years in office and tomorrow we find who is New Plymouth's new Mayor.
After coming home I felt really inspired to make some simple but hopefully elegant cards. Hope you like what I have done, and sorry for the long gabble!!!
Take care
Rel xx

Well it's about time you make some cards LOL!
They are great! The bag cards is pretty cool too and you did a great job on the bird with the sun in the background! I knew you would love the embossing folders as much as I do, they are so classy.
And WOW! I want to move into your guest room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful cards. I especially like the handbag card, that's really special and a great way of giving a gift card too.
